Grieco Named to USAID Public Affairs Post

The U.S. Senate has confirmed Jeffrey Grieco as the assistant administrator for legislative and public affairs for the U.S. Agency for International Development.

WASHINGTON, D.C.The U.S. Senate has confirmed Jeffrey Grieco as the assistant administrator for legislative and public affairs for the U.S. Agency for International Development. As head of the bureau for legislative and public affairs, Grieco will manage USAID's congressional and press relations; outreach to the public and constituent groups to communicate the agency's mission, objectives and accomplishments; production of print, video and Internet materials; and internal communications.

 

Grieco most recently served as the deputy assistant administrator within the bureau. In addition, he has served as USAIDs senior representative on various interagency committees and working groups dealing with communications, public diplomacy and public affairs. Prior to his administration appointment Grieco was an associate fellow at Georgetown University's Institute for the Study of Diplomacy.
