Guillaumin Joins Alcatel to Lead Communications

Alcatel has named Caroline Guillaumin is appointed vice president of corporate communications. She will also coordinate the company sustainable development policy.

PARIS—Alcatel has named Caroline Guillaumin is appointed vice president of corporate communications. She will also coordinate the company sustainable development policy and will report to Claire Pedini, senior vice president, corporate human resources and communications.

Guillaumin was previously communications and corporate social responsibility director of SFR since May 2003. She was earlier corporate internal and external communications director of Alcatel from June 1999 to May 2003, and from 1998 to 1999 was senior marketing and communications manager at Alcatel Answare.

Alcatel provides communications solutions to telecommunication carriers, Internet service providers and enterprises for delivery of voice, data and video applications to their customers or employees. With sales of €13.1 billion and 58,000 employees in 2005, Alcatel operates in more than 130 countries.
