MUMBAI—Gutenberg Communications, an international public and investor relations firm, has been selected by the U.S.-India Business Council to lead a communications campaign for The Business and Entrepreneurship Summit on November 6, during President Barack Obama’s first State Visit to India. The conference will be hosted by the USIBC, the U.S. Department of Commerce and the Confederation of Indian Industry.
Gutenberg will handle communications on behalf of the USIBC for the summit. Over the last four years, the firm has partnered with the USIBC to raise visibility of its events including an exclusive luncheon for the Honorable Indian Prime Minister Dr. Manmohan Singh hosted in the U.S. last year.
In addition, enterprise cloud computing company Salesforce.com has selected Gutenberg Communications to handle its India PR account. It is understood that Gutenberg prevailed following a competitive review that featured several other agencies. A Salesforce.com spokesperson confirmed the appointment.
