WASHINGTON, D.C.—Hill & Knowlton has hired Hadassah Lieberman as senior counselor in its health and pharmaceuticals practice, and former CNN health reporter Jeffrey Levine as senior vice president of healthcare media relations. Their arrivals come on the heels of the recent appointment of Anna McCollister-Slipp as Senior vice president and director of the Washington health practice.

Lieberman will serve as a strategic counselor on healthcare policy and public health initiatives, working with current clients and developing new business opportunities. Spanning more than three decades, Lieberman’s previous experience includes senior healthcare positions at Saint Raphael Hospital in New Haven, the American Committee for Shaare Zedek Medical Center in Jerusalem, APCO Associates, Pfizer Pharmaceuticals, and Hoffmann-La Roche.

An award-winning healthcare reporter, Jeffrey Levine spent more than a decade of his 18 years with CNN covering health and medical news, serving as CNN’s national medical correspondent, medical editor, Pentagon reporter, and bureau chief in major markets such as Atlanta, Chicago, Washington, San Francisco, and Jerusalem. In addition to his CNN experience, Levine most recently served as the health communications director at the American Institutes for Research and at Ketchum.
