Hill & Knowlton has launched a new global communications practice designed to help Chinese companies looking to improve their international image. Frances Sun, senior vice president of Hill & Knowlton China, will lead the new practice.

BEIJING—Hill & Knowlton has launched a new global communications practice designed to help Chinese companies looking to improve their international image. The global communications offering integrates agency resources to deliver strategic consultancy services that serve the international communications needs of Chinese companies.

 

Frances Sun, senior vice president of Hill & Knowlton China, will lead the new global communications practice from Beijing. Sun was previously client service director for Hill & Knowlton’s Beijing 2008 Olympic Games assignment.

 

According to Sun: “Chinese companies are facing a flood of challenges overseas, from product safety and quality concerns to local competition in new markets and different cultural practices. Communications plays a crucial role in informing consumers, business partners, and local governments that Chinese brands have the ability and credibility to meet their needs.”

 

The new offering will  offer clients the development of an international pr system, corporate reputation and brand management communications, executive leadership communications, M&A communications, IPO communications, crisis and issues management infrastructure, corporate social responsibility consultancy, and professional workshops.
