GELSENKIRCHEN—Hill & Knowlton has opened its third office in Germany and its first in North Rhine-Westphalia, the largest federal state in the nation, on the site of the University of Applied Sciences in Gelsenkirchen. In an innovative partnership with the university, the office will be staffed by students and known as Hill & Knowlton Campus. According to Ernst Primosch, chairman and CEO at Hill & Knowlton Germany, “We want to combine originality and creativity to encourage our young talents to fulfil the requirements of tomorrow.” The office will be led by Professor Dr. Karl-Martin Obermeier and staffed by five students, who will have an opportunity to put the theory they learn in university courses into practice. Opened just two weeks ago, the new office has already acquired three clients, including one of the largest retailing companies in Germany.
