LAGOS—Hill & Knowlton has announced an exclusive affiliation agreement with the Nigerian public relations firm, JSP Corporate Communications.

JSP is one of the fastest growing public relations companies in Nigeria with a client list that includes Coca-Cola, the PZ Cussons, Investment Banking & Trust Company (IBTC), Leadbank, FedEx, Hope Worldwide Charity and the Nigerian-American Chamber of Commerce.

The agency, based in the capital Lagos, is run by managing director and head consultant Phil Osagie and employs 20 people.

Dominic Shales, Hill & Knowlton’s vice president of marketing and business development for the firm’s Europe, Africa and Middle East region said the partnership represented an exciting opportunity for the agency to offer clients services in West Africa’s fastest developing marketplace and that it would strengthen H&K’s presence in the region.

Says Osagie, “Nigeria is currently undergoing substantial economic reform and enjoys an increasingly vibrant press culture. To work in this context with the support of Hill & Knowlton’s global network represents a fantastic opportunity both for us and our clients.”
