SYDNEY—Hill & Knowlton Sydney has been named marketing agency of record for the National Indigenous Development Centre. The NIDC, opening later this year, will provide sporting, educational, arts/cultural and leadership development opportunities for thousands of Indigenous young people from across Australia. H&K will be working with the NIDC to implement an integrated marketing program, which will include brand development, government relations, social media programs, community relations, digital strategy, sponsorships, direct mail programs and media outreach.

“We needed a marketing partner who not only had the right expertise and skills but also the passion and understanding of the significance of this new centre,” said Sam Jeffries, deputy chairperson of the Indigenous Land Corporation that is funding the NIDC and managing its development. “The H&K team has every area of expertise we were looking for, demonstrating a high level of strategic thinking, creativity and enthusiasm as well as complementing our vision for the NIDC.”
