HOUSTON—Hill & Knowlton has been chosen to provide communications and marketing support to promote the 2005 U.S.-Arab Economic Forum that will be held in Houston from September 14 to 16.
The Forum is an event for companies and organizations interested in business and policy decisions affecting those regions. It is being staged by the American Middle East Economic Affairs Committee and co-hosted by the American Arab Chamber of Commerce, the Bilateral US-Arab Chamber of Commerce, the Arab Community Center for Economic and Social Services, and the Greater Houston Partnership with former President George H. W. Bush serving as honorary chair.
“The Forum is designed as a venue wherein participants can explore ways to use business as a bridge to build stronger U.S.-Arab relations, and ultimately create a shared stake in a prosperous future,” says Karim Alrawi, Forum executive director. “We chose Hill & Knowlton because of its deep insight into the industries that the Forum will focus on and its proven track record of success.”
The work will be done primarily out of Hill & Knowlton’s Houston office, with support from its international network. Hill & Knowlton has also signed on as a platinum sponsor for the event.
