LOS ANGELES—PainePR has hired Eric Borsum as general manager of PainePR, Los Angeles. Borsum, who joins PainePR with 17 years public relations experience at Hill & Knowlton, will oversee key areas of client service, management and business development.

At H&K, Borsum led social marketing, diversity, corporate social responsibility and public education campaigns on a variety of topics, including maternal and child health issues, nutrition education,
cancer prevention, teen pregnancy prevention, air quality and more. Borsum has worked on campaigns such as 5 A Day, Healthy Families, Medi-Cal for Children, Family PACT and BabyCal. Clients have ranged from the California Department of Health Services to E*Trade and Balance Bar.
Borsum formerly served as Hill & Knowlton’s U.S. director of social marketing and corporate social responsibility, and he had administrative oversight of the firm’s U.S. diversity specialty, Sacramento public affairs activities and corporate services in Los Angeles.
