LONDON—The International Communications Consultancy Organisation, has named Virginia Hague as executive director. She replaces Simon Quarendon, who is leaving to devote his full attention to the management of his firm, The Lean Agency, which specializes in building communication dashboards for public relations practitioners.
Hague was most recently European coordinator for Burson-Marsteller. Her career has spanned management and brand consulting, as well as communications, with prior positions at the Boston Consulting Group, Ogilvy Group and J. Walter Thompson. She is fluent in English, German and Spanish.
The International Communications Consultancy Organisation represents national trade associations of public relations consultancies operating in 29 countries around the world. Its affiliated trade associations collectively have 1,000 PR consultancy members employing more than 25,000 staff.
