SHANGHAI--German sanitary fittings manufacturer Hansgrohe has expanded its global PR relationship with GolinHarris into China.

The company has appointed GolinHarris Shanghai on a retained basis in China, which is its largest international market, following a pitch process.

Earlier this year, GolinHarris London secured Hansgrohe's global PR remit after a competitive review.

GolinHarris Shanghai has been tasked with providing media communications and digital services across the Greater China region, covering both the Hansgrohe and Axor brands.

Founded in Germany more than a century ago, Hansgrohe is aiming to highlight its credentials in design, innovation and sustainability and increase its brand awareness and influence in China.

"We previously worked with Hansgrohe on a 4-year retainer agreement from 2006 to 2009," said GolinHarris Shanghai VP/GM Sarah Chin. "We believe that by telling their compelling brand story, combined with our communication and digital expertise, we’ll provide Hansgrohe with a powerful integrated communication service.”
