Harmon Named to Lead Communications at Navistar

Navistar International Corporation, parent of International Truck & Engine Corporation, has named Jon Harmon vice president of corporate communications. Harmon joins Navistar from Force for Good Communications.

WARRENVILLE, IL—Navistar International Corporation, parent of International Truck & Engine Corporation, has named Jon Harmon vice president of corporate communications. Harmon joins Navistar from Force for Good Communications, a public relations consultancy with an ethical focus that he founded earlier this year.

Previously, he had worked for 23 years in public relations at Ford Motor Company, including senior roles in product communications, corporate reputation management and strategic communications. Most recently he served as director of communications strategy and director of North American product public affairs.

Harmon will report to Gregory Elliott, vice president of corporate human resources and administration, who is responsible for communications, government relations, compensation and benefits, facilities services, human resources and diversity.
