Health Advocacy Firm Kyne Expands To West Coast, Adds International Offices

NEW YORK—Health advocacy and communications agency Kyne is opening offices in Dublin, Ireland and Los Angeles.

The company has hired Wendy Woods-Williams, executive vice president, and Sadie Whittaker, head of medical and scientific affairs, to establish a Los Angeles office and grow the company’s offering on the West Coast, as well as to serve existing clients in California and Washington state. In addition, Orla Barnewell, vice president and EU lead, will support global accounts from Dublin and spearhead the company’s expansion throughout Europe.

Barnewell, formerly of Tonic Life Communications in London, joins Kyne with a decade of experience developing international and pan-EU health programs and partnerships.

Woods-Williams, most recently at Amgen, brings nearly 20 years’ experience in US and EU healthcare communications with a specific expertise in strategic counsel and execution of global communication initiatives. Whittaker was also previously of Amgen, where she most recently served as the US medical lead for biosimilars, and has more than 15 years’ experience in biotechnology clinical development and medical communications, with specific expertise in oncology.
