Helfer Takes Over as CEO at Pleon's U.K. Office

Pleon, the Omnicom-owned European communications consultancy, has named Jennifer Helfer as the new CEO of its London office, following the departure last month of Geoff Beattie, who joined Cohn & Wolfe as managing director.

LONDON—Pleon, the Omnicom-owned European communications consultancy, has named Jennifer Helfer as the new CEO of its London office, following the departure last month of Geoff Beattie, who joined Cohn & Wolfe as managing director. Helfer is currently managing director of Pleon in the U.K. and has been heading up its corporate practice.

Pleon has also announced a major restructuring of its U.K. management team, including the creation of a new role as corporate director, for which the company is currently recruiting. The senior leadership team will include Eva Keogan, who will augment her role as consumer director with new responsibility as creative director; Nick Morris, technology director; Craig Wildman, promoted from financial controller to finance and operations director; and  Iain Halpin, who has been named strategic consulting director

Helfer joined Pleon in December 2004 as an associate director. Her background includes serving as director of marketing and corporate communications for U.S.-based iGATE, a global IT services company.
