Henkel Veteran Primosch to Lead H&K in Germany

Communications and branding veteran Ernst Primosch has been appointed chief executive officer of Hill & Knowlton Germany. Until recently, Primosch was global corporate vice president of the home care and cosmetics company Henkel Group.

FRANKFURT—Communications and branding veteran Ernst Primosch has been appointed chief executive officer of Hill & Knowlton Germany. Until recently, Primosch was global corporate vice president of the home care and cosmetics company Henkel Group.

 

An Austrian-born economist,Primosch previously led communications in 125 countries across four continents while working for Henkel, Siemens, Schwarzkopf and Porter Novelli. He is an expert in corporate communications, positioning, reputation and crisis management and is well-known for leading the repositioning of the Henkel brand and developing its international corporate branding strategy (“A Brand like a Friend”).

In his new role, Primosch will initially report to chairman Dr. Detlev Geiger, who will retire in August next year. At that point, Primosch will take over as chairman and CEO in Germany.
