Herman to Lead Bite's North American Operations

Bite Communications has appointed Michelle Herman as general manager, North America, reporting to chief executive Clive Armitage. She will be based in Bite’s San Francisco office and will oversee the company’s North American business.

SAN FRANCISCO—Bite Communications has appointed Michelle Herman as general manager, North America, reporting to chief executive Clive Armitage. She will be based in Bite’s San Francisco office and will oversee the company’s North American business, which includes additional in New York and Toronto, and will be responsible for driving growth and working with clients across the region, including AMD, HP, Sybase and Vonage.

 

Herman was most recently senior vice president and global technology practice leader/general manager, San Francisco, at Waggener Edstrom.  Prior to her roles with Waggener Edstrom, she served in both corporate communications and field marketing roles with Hyperion Solutions. She was also senior managing director at SparkPR and vice president of corporate communications at Cadence Design Systems. 

 

Earlier in her career, she worked at Hoffman Agency. She was the first Hoffman employee to arrive in Hong Kong as the firm sought to build an international operation and she subsequently built the business to more than 40 people across multiple offices in the region. She has also worked as part of the communications team on two presidential campaigns.
