Hill & Knowlton Adds Bite's Currie as Head of Technology

Hill & Knowlton has appointed Bite Communications global director Grant Currie as head of technology. Currie has 17 years of technology expertise and corporate, crisis and media experience.

LONDON—Hill & Knowlton has appointed Bite Communications global director Grant Currie as head of technology. Currie has 17 years of technology expertise and corporate, crisis and media experience working with clients including Microsoft, Sony, AMD, Cisco, Oracle, Capgemini and Palm. In his new role, he will report to U.K. chief executive Richard Millar, and will be responsible for growing the 20-strong technology team while serving current H&K clients including Intel, Casio and Truphone.

 

At Next Fifteen-owned Bite, Currie was part of a global management team, as well as leading a number of accounts including Microsoft U.K. and AMD EMEA. 

 

Earlier, Currie founded and ran Inferno Communications, growing the agency from three staff to a 30-strong, £2.9 million business that was ranked among the U.K.’s top 10 technology PR agencies.
