Hill & Knowlton Picks Up IMF Assignment

Hill & Knowlton has been awarded a contract to bolster the International Monetary Fund’s global outreach. The IMF works with its member governments to achieve economic and financial stability, which promote growth and poverty reduction.

WASHINGTON, D.C.Hill & Knowlton has been awarded a contract to bolster the International Monetary Fund’s global outreach. The IMF works with its member governments to achieve economic and financial stability, which promote growth and poverty reduction.

 

The one-year contract will be coordinated out of Washington, D.C., where the IMF’s headquarters is located andwill be supervised by Dan Morrison and Kathie Boettrich. Dave Robinson, CEO of the Middle East and Africa region for H&K will lead an H&K team across the Middle East, North Africa, and Central Asia, while Glenn Schloss, regional director for H&K in the Asia Pacific region, will oversee activity on the IMF program in the Far East.

 

H&K will be responsible for counseling on stakeholder outreach strategy for Asia and the Middle East, and on financial sector issues. While media will be an important component of the engagement, customized contact programs with key opinion formers, influencers and the wider financial and economic community are also being planned.

 

H&K will work in concert with the IMF’s managing director Dominique Strauss-Kahn, as well as regional and executive teams.
