Hirsch Named to Lead Global Health Practice at Ruder Finn

Ruder Finn has hired Susan Hirsch as global healthcare practice leader. She will manage the activities of the global healthcare practice with her primary responsibility for the New York office. Hirsch was formerly head of the U.S. healthcare practice at Ogilvy.

NEW YORK—Ruder Finn has hired Susan Hirsch as global healthcare practice leader. She will manage the activities of the global healthcare practice with her primary responsibility for the New York office. Hirsch was formerly head of the U.S. healthcare practice at Ogilvy Public Relations Worldwide, and at Ruder Finn replaces Susan Smirnoff, who now serves as the global strategic head, health & wellness, a position created to expand the heritage of Ruder Finn’s global pharmaceutical industry expertise.

Hirsch joins Ruder Finn with more than 17 years of experience across a broad spectrum of disciplines, including global brand positioning, core global programming, corporate communications, pipeline communications, issues management, category expansion, and consumer awareness campaigns. Before joining Ogilvy, Hirsch was a senior vice president in both the healthcare and corporate branding groups at Ruder Finn in New York.  Her prior agency experience includes positions with Chandler Chicco Agency and CPR Worldwide.
