In what is shaping up to be a record year for SABRE Awards entries, The Holmes Report has extended the late deadline for its U.S. awards competition until February 2, 2009. The late deadline for the EMEA region awards remains January 26, 2009.
The first deadlines for both awards competitions passed last week, with a record number of entries in both regions, which The Holmes Report attributes to a combination of factors: a very successful 2008, with plenty of great work, along with concerns about 2009, which led many firms to get their entries in early.
The North American SABRE Awards recognize the best in public relations programming from the U.S., Canada, and Latin American, spotlighting the most strategic, creative, and effective campaigns and helping winning firms distinguish themselves from the competition.
