CHICAGO¾Noble, an independent full-service advertising and communications agency headquartered in Springfield, Mo., has named Andy Hopson as president of its Chicago office. Hopson reports to agency founder, chairman and CEO Bob Noble, and also serves on the agency’s board of directors and its executive committee.
Most recently Hopson was senior advisor and strategist for Real Good Idea, a consultancy for innovative agencies, services and marketing technologies. Earlier in his career he was president and chief operating officer at Publicis Dialog, which he helped launch in the U.S. after Publicis acquired EvansGroup, where Hopson also served as president and chief operating officer.
He also led the North East region operations of Burson-Marsteller and was president of Ruder Finn’s Chicago office.
Noble, which has capitalized billings of $128 million, was founded in 1969. The agency has an expertise in the food, home and building, and service industries. Chicago clients include Behr, Country Financial, Grande Cheese, Midwest Airlines, Pace Suburban Bus Service and U.S. Foodservice. It also operated The Food Channel, a website designed to be a one-stop-shop for all things food.
