NEW YORK—Technology public relations specialist Horn Group, which opened a New York office during the recent market downturn, has expanded its presence in the city with the appointment of Christopher Faust as managing director of the PR practice in New York and a handful of new client engagements that represent more than $1.5 million in annual revenue.
Faust, who reports to agency president Sabrina Horn, is responsible for strategic client service, business development and operations. Previously, he was vice president at PFS, a position he held as a result of the acquisition of his strategic PR and marketing consultancy, BreakThrough Communications. In addition to heading up his own agency, he has held positions as director of communications for Lincoln
Financial Distributors, vice president of marketing communications for InterWorld Corp., and partner with the Merritt Group.
“The demand for strategic communications and creative services for technology companies in the New York area is growing,” says Horn. “With today’s announcements, we have the leadership, client portfolio and world-class facilities to make a lasting impact on the software market in this region.”
Among the new clients of the New York office is Westcon Group, which is working with Horn Group on interactive marketing, banding and collateral, and the development and execution of integrated
global communications programs. Westcon is a global specialty distributor of networking and communications equipment.
Other new client wins include Blue Titan, which provides service-oriented architecture management solutions; Portaga, which provides online travel distribution solutions on the desktop; and Velocita Wireless, which provides wireless data products and services for enterprises and government.
