PURCHASE, NY—MasterCard International has named Harvey Greisman global head of communications. He will have responsibility for all corporate-wide internal and external communications.
Greisman was most recently vice president of corporate communications for IBM, where he was responsible for leading the transformation of the company-wide communications discipline into a globally integrated function. He joined IBM in 1997 and headed communications for the IBM Software and IBM global services divisions. He also developed a consulting practice to help customers better communicate the transformational work that IBM provided for them.
Prior to IBM, Greisman spent 16 years at GTE Corporation where he ultimately served as senior vice president of public affairs and communications. Before GTE, Greisman headed media relations for Allied Corporation (now Honeywell).
