NEW DELHI—Indian public relations firms planning to attend the ICCO World Summit in New Delhi next month will take part in a “matchmaking” session in an attempt to find agency partners in more developed markets, including the U.S. and western Europe.
According to organizers of the summit, which will bring together the heads of consultancies from around the world, “India’s leading brand owners are briefing their PR consultants to help them expand internationally and are tasking them with signing partnership agreements” with firms in other markets.
So the Public Relations Consultants Association of India has seen high levels of interest among its Indian members for the matchmaking session that will take place on Wednesday October 4, the day before the forthcoming ICCO Global Summit.
CEOs of PR agencies planning to attend the Summit can sign up for the Matchmaking Session for the opportunity to create new relationships with independent Indian PR agencies who are now advising their clients on their international expansion plans and to develop relationships in one of the fastest growing economies in the world.
According to Jayoti Lahiri, the secretary general of the PRCAI, “Our members recognise that the matchmaking session is an ideal opportunity to forge new relationships; to the commercial benefit and advantage of both parties. We have a number of members working on some exciting assignments who are keen to meet CEOs from PR agencies attending the Summit”.
