Independent PR Alliance Names Singer as President

The Independent Public Relations Alliance, a network of 75 communications executives who own or operate independent practices in the Washington, D.C., area, has named Sheri Singer, president of Singer Communications, as president.

WASHINGTON, D.C.— The Independent Public Relations Alliance, a network of 75 communications executives who own or operate independent practices in the Washington, D.C., area, has named Sheri Singer, president of Singer Communications, as president and Sandra Remey, president of Remey Communications, as president-elect.

 

Other offices of the alliance include treasurer Ami Neiberger-Miller, chief executive of Steppingstone; secretary Robert Deigh, principal of RDR Communication/PR; membership co-chairs Remey and Susan Rink, principal of Rink Strategic Communications; program co-chairs Robert Udowitz, principal of Robert Udowitz Consulting, and Pauline Ellmore, owner of PR Works; marketing and PR co-chairs Mary-Jane Atwater, president of Atwater Communications, and Claudia Askew, president of ASQ Communications; and education co-chairs Helen Sullivan, president of InHouse Communications, and Michael Sheward, president of Management Communications Strategies.
