Indonesian Oil Company Selects Ruder Finn

Ruder Finn has been retained by Pertamina, Indonesia’s state-owned oil company, to develop and implement an international corporate communications program. The program budget is in the mid six-figure range.

NEW YORK—Ruder Finn has been retained by Pertamina, Indonesia’s state-owned oil company, to develop and implement an international corporate communications program. The program budget is in the mid six-figure range.

With revenues of approximately $1 billion, Pertamina,  headquartered in Jakarta and the largest company in the country, is a regional leader in oil production and refinery operations.   

“We are pleased to be working with Ruder Finn on this new communications initiative for Pertamina,” said Ridwan Nyak Baik, public relations manager of Pertamina. “ It has  demonstrated an ability to analyze our issues and objectives and to work with us on creating a strategic process for developing increased understanding of the policies and operations of Pertamina”

Anne Glauber, senior vice president, and director of the global issues communication group at Ruder Finn will lead the account, which will concentrate on developing greater awareness of the role of Pertamina in the oil industry and increasing understanding of new management strategies designed to provide for a new level of accountability and professionalism.
