PMK-BNC launched personal brand practice; Twist adds New York office; BusinessWire introduces News Capsule.

LOS ANGELES—PMK•BNC has launched a new personal brand management department to be led by talent marketing strategist Bill Sanders, formerly of BDA Sports Management. The new department will work closely with the company's entertainment division and will focus on helping clients develop and market their personal brands, exploring opportunities for marketing, endorsements, public speaking and equity ventures. Sanders most recently served as chief marketing officer at BDA Sports, where he aligned clients with global brands, including Coca-Cola, Pepsi, Gatorade, Vitamin Water, Visa, American Express, Apple, Sprint, T-Mobile, Verizon, AT&T, Guinness, and Bridgestone.

NEW YORK—Twist Mktg, the integrated marketing and communications firm that is part of the W2O Group of companies, has expanded from its headquarters in New York, adding teams in both Austin and Atlanta. Twist is also building a new consumer practice. Established in March of 2012, Twist Mktg now has more than 60 team members in the United States, including Colin Foster, social and digital leader, who will lead the team in Austin, and Stephan Merkens, media and engagement leader, who will lead in Atlanta.
