NEW YORK—KCSA Strategic Communications has formed an investor relations consulting group that will help public companies develop social media policies to ensure compliance with Regulation Fair Disclosure. The move comes in the wake of the SEC’s April 2 statement that social media can be used in IR. The group will be led by KCSA CEO Jeff Corbin, who describes the SEC statement as “a game-changing development in the investor relations industry; the scale of which we have not seen in many years.”
