Inforpress opens in Chile; Calypso launches new unit; Alpauyac expands to Washington.

MADRID—Leading Spanish public relations firm Inforpress is opening an office in Chile under the leadership of Cristina Legares and Javier Ureta. Legares has held communications positions with Chilean, Spanish and Argentinean companies. Ureta has worked in the consultancy sector in Chile and most recently with the Chilean government. According to Inforpress president Núria Vilanova, “Besides being an important receptor of foreign investment, the Chilean companies are increasingly extending their presence in the surrounding area, mainly in countries such as Peru, Brazil and Colombia, in which Inforpress also has offices.”
