DKC buys Broadway PR boutique, Lisa Fels launches new firm.

NEW YORK---Theatrical press agent and the principal behind O&M Co., Rick Miramontez, is joining DKC to create DKC/O&M. Also joining DKC will be O&M’s executives Andy Snyder (creative director) and Molly Barnett (VP, theatrical division), and other key staffers from the firm. DKC/O&M -- which will be fully integrated into DKC’s national entertainment practice under the leadership of Joe Quenqua, executive vice president and director of entertainment, creating a national Broadway and live events business.

WASHINGTON, DC—Lisa Fels, whose experience includes roles with Environics Communications, Verizon, and Glover Park Group, has formed Succession Communications, a strategic communications agency that will create and implement public relations strategies and programs for small and mid-sized companies. The firm will also train corporate executives in internal communications matters, as well as help companies establish systems to handle both external and internal communications goals.
