Interel expands global network; Colorado firm partners with Links; PR Consultants Group adds members; WPP launches content specialist; AMEC schedules May meeting.

BRUSSELS—Interel, the global public affairs consultancy, has expanded its presence in South America forming partnerships with best-in-class communications and public affairs firms in Argentina (Identia), Brazil (Imagem Corporativa), Chile (Extend), Colombia (Dattis) and Peru (Concertum and CSR Consulting) All firms have become part of the Interel Global Partnership, a network of leading consultancies providing public and government affairs, strategic communications, advocacy and business intelligence support in 60 markets worldwide.

BOULDER, CO—Metzger Albee Public Relations is rebranding as MAPR, and has formed an expanded partnership with Links WorldGroup, based in Miami. MAPR and Links have offices in Boulder, Denver, and Miami, with an Austin, Tex., office opening next month and work together on technology, healthcare, business-to-business (B2B) and travel/tourism clients.


SOUTHFIELD, MI—The PR Consultants Group, a national network of seasoned experts, has added four new members: Martin Waxman, president of Martin Waxman Communications in Toronto; Bernardo Fiol-Costa, president and founder, The Big Think Group of Puerto Rico; Dan O’Keeffe, Owner of O’Keeffe PR of Cincinnati, Oh.; and Missy MacFarlane, co-founder and principal, B2 Communications, Tampa, Fla.

LONDON—tenthavenue, WPP’s global one-to-one consumer communications company, has launched Bookmark Content and Communications, a merger of content specialists Spafax Content Marketing Americas and Forward Worldwide. The combined offer will deliver content strategy, stunning editorial and video production; but now also adding CRM, data-driven solutions, mobile strategy, PR, media relations and event management. Bookmark will employ more than 250 content marketing specialists operating out of Lima, London, Los Angeles, Montreal, New York, Santiago, Shanghai, Singapore and Toronto.

BANGKOK—The Global Summit on Measurement, organised by AMEC, the International Association for Measurement & Evaluation of Communication, will take place in Bangkok next May. Isentia Group, an AMEC member, will be the headline sponsor of the Summit, which will also include the awards ceremony for the annual AMEC International Awards. It is the first time the AMEC Summit will be held in Asia.
