CHICAGO—The Arthur W Page Society has named Dave Samson, general manager of public affairs at Chevron, as its next chairman, succeeding Gary Sheffer, vice president of strategic communications at General Electric. Samson has been a member of the Page Society since 1996, has served as a trustee since 2008 and is the co-chair of this year’s Page Society annual conference. Prior to Chevron, he held senior leadership roles with Oracle, Levi Strauss & Co., IBM and Ketchum.

OKLAHOMA CITY—Jones PR, a public affairs and communications agency with offices in Oklahoma City and Tulsa, has become part of PROI Worldwide, a partnership of independent agencies with fee income of $ 615 million. Jones PR was established in 2001 and has expertise in corporate communications, consumer marketing, public affairs and creative services for aerospace, energy, economic development and technology sectors.

WEST PALM BEACH, FL—O’Donnell Agency has opened an office in Sarasota, Fla., and added four executives, including Brandy Stephenson as advertising manager; Brenda Duffey as senior brand strategist, Brittny Quinn as senior brand manager; and Sarah Filosa as accounts coordinator. Agency vice president Julie Fanning heads the new Gulf Coast office
