BOSTON—HB Agency, a Boston-based marketing and public relations agency with expertise in B2B and technology, will combine with Eric Mower + Associates to create integrated agency with more than 250 professionals and estimated 2015 capitalized billings approaching $250 million. EMA now serves clients from nine different cities in five states.

TORONTO—InfiniteLatitude, an international network of senior corporate communications consultants, has added a presence in Canada with the addition of ps creative communications in Toronto. Pamela Bailey, the firm’s founder, has 20 years of experience in Canada and the UK. InfiniteLatitude now covers 13 markets on three continents: Austria, Belgium, Canada, France, Germany, India, Italy, Malaysia, Poland, Spain, Switzerland, the UK and the US.

SAN FRANCISCO—Social intelligence specialist Sysomos has acquired gazeMetrix, an image recognition and visual listening platform that helps brands and agencies capitalize on the opportunity presented by an increasingly visual social web. gazeMetrix has been at the forefront of visual analytics in social media using sophisticated algorithms and a proprietary virality detection method. The platform provides brands a window into how their logos are representing them and how customers are representing their brand.

LONDON—AMEC, the International Association for Measurement and Evaluation of Communication, has signed an agreement with Gorkana, a Cision company, as the headline sponsor of its International Measurement Summit, to be held from 15-16 June 2016 in London.
