CHICAGO—O'Malley Hansen Communications, with offices in Chicago and St Louis, has acquired Alpaytac Public Relations. The acquisition expands the agency's footprint by adding an office in Los Angeles and additional team members in Chicago and New York. Alpaytac chief executive and president Huma Gruaz will join OHC as a partner based in Los Angeles. This acquisition also creates an international footprint for OHC with access to offices in 32 countries in more than 40 countries through the ECCO International Communications network.

HONOLULU—Tokyo-based Vector will acquire and merge resources with Honolulu based PacRim Marketing Group, Inc. and its sister companies PRTech and PacRim Marketing Tokyo.  The acquisition will make Vector one of the largest independent media communications firms in Asia-Pacific region, with nine offices in Asia and one in the US and revenue of more than $90 million. The acquisition increases opportunities for PacRim and PRTech clients to expand their reach and impact in Japan and Asia.

NORTH BETHESDA, MD—Maryland-based communications agency Van Eperen has acquired J. Davis Public Relations, a Baltimore-based public relations consultancy founded in 2005 by Jeffrey Davis. Davis will serve as managing director, Baltimore.
