Industry Veteran Garrett Launches Her Own Firm

Mary Garrett, a public relations professional with over 22 years of industry experience, has opened her own PR firm, MG Public Relations. Prior to starting MG Public Relations, Garrett spent 15 years with Weber Shandwick in Chicago.

PHOENIX—Mary Garrett, a public relations professional with over 22 years of industry experience, has opened her own PR firm, MG Public Relations. Prior to starting MG Public Relations, Garrett spent 15 years with Weber Shandwick in Chicago, and helped build PR practices for two Phoenix firms. Her clients include both regional and national companies including I-ology Internet Strategy, Calsaway Pool Services, Phoenix Orthopedic Consultants, NitrogenMan Tire Inflation, Motu’s Tahitian Noni Grill, Wagatha’s Organic Dog Biscuits, Bomba Energy Drink, and Carotino Red Palm Oil.

“My entire career has been spent developing national media outreach campaigns for some of today’s most significant brands,” says Garrett, who adds that her new firm will offer “big agency thinking and bottom line results.” Areas of expertise include food, technology, restaurants, real estate, luxury goods, retail and healthcare.

Previous clients have included The Quaker Oats Company, DiGiorno Pizza, Weber Grills, The National Pork Producers Council, the Milk Moustache Campaign, and Harley-Davidson.
