STRATFORD, CT—Cubitt Jacobs & Prosek has been named North American agency-of-record for Inmarsat, a London-based satellite communications provider. CJP will support Inmarsat’s the U.S. launch of a new high-speed data communications service called broadband global area network as well as the company’s traditional lines of business in the maritime and aeronautical industries. CJP will also provide strategic communications around lobbying and public affairs initiatives.
“The forthcoming launch of BGAN is a milestone moment for Inmarsat and we sought an established, well-recognized agency to raise awareness of the service among our core target audiences,” says Chris McLaughlin, Inmarsat’s vice president for corporate and investor communications. “We quickly came to realize that CJP had the technological understanding, strategic industry insight, creativity, expertise and enthusiasm we need as we enter an important period for the company.”
