BERLIN—Instinctif Partners, the firm previously known as College Hills, has bought German consultancy Brand Associates.

The acquisition of the Berlin-based political communication firm takes Instinctif's German headcount to more than 60. Brand Associates, which will integrate with Instinctif's German operations, has been in business since 2008.

“We can now offer our existing clients traditional PR work alongside political communication from a single source," said founder and MD of Brand Associates Cornelius Brand.

"Close cooperation with our partners in Brussels and London also strengthens our professional expertise within Europe and enhances the effectiveness of communication measures."

The deal is part of Instinctif's bid to expand its global public policy offering,  which is led by managing partner, Warwick Smith.
