LONDON—Healthcare specialist Resolute has hired Andrew Worsfold as associate director. Worsfold has held senior roles at DeFacto, Pope Woodhead, Adis International and Cambridge Medical Communication, directing account teams for clients that include Amgen, Bristol-Myers Squibb, UCB and Forest Laboratories. Prior to his work in the pharmaceutical industry, he spent 15 years working in sales and strategic marketing across the diagnostics industry.

DELHI—Virgin Atlantic Airways has awarded its public relations account in India to Good Relations (India) following a multi-agency pitch. According to Neha Lidder Ganju, marketing manager for India for the airline, “The team at Good Relations India demonstrated the skills and enthusiasm necessary for an energetic brand like Virgin to take its communications to the next level.”

WARSAW—Arc International, a leader in the market for tableware and decorative items, has selected Sigma as its PR partner in Poland for Luminarc brand. Sigma will be responsible for the management of media relations, writing and distribution of press releases, organising media events and other activities.
