MOUNTAIN VIEW—Financial software company Intuit has named new vice president for corporate communications and investor relations.
Harry Pforzheimer, a Silicon Valley veteran who has held senior positions at Ruder Finn and Edelman, will take over as VP of communications, responsible for internal and external communications and reporting to chief marketing officer Raymond Stern.
In addition, Jessica Kourakos has been named vice president of investor relations. Kourakos will work with Intuit’s senior management team to develop investor relations strategies and serve as the company’s liaison with the financial analyst and investor communities. She reports to Brad Henske, Intuit’s senior vice president and chief financial officer
Pforzheimer was most recently executive vice president at Ruder Finn/Switzer, which he joined in July of last year. Previously, he was general manager of the Silicon Valley office of Edelman, where he spent six years, and held corporate positions at Silicon Graphics, Storage Tek, United Banks of Colorado, and Standard Oil.
Prior to joining Intuit, Kourakos was vice president of investor relations at Synopsys. Before that, she was a vice president at Goldman, Sachs, where she covered the technical software, video game and security infrastructure software markets as a financial analyst.
