COPENHAGEN—IPREX, a network of independent public relations and communication firms, has elected Operate, a full service agency with a staff of more than 30 based in Copenhagen, as its Danish partner, and now offers coverage throughout the Nordic market.

The firm has particular expertise in health, agriculture, finance, environment, energy and sustainable development issues and offers a range of services, from research, strategy, branding and public affairs to change communication, crisis communication, media management, web communication and graphic design.

Operate has a strong reputation in the public sector, having worked for almost all Danish ministries, some 30 municipalities, a number of regions and international organizations such as UNDP, UNICEF and the European Union. In the private sector, corporate clients include some of the largest Danish companies working across borders, such as Novo Nordisk, VELUX, ISS and DONG Energy.

Operate area director Kasper Westphal Pedersen says, “International collaboration is the natural next step for Operate. Joining IPREX allows us to provide new services to clients with interests outside Denmark and to help overseas clients inside Denmark. Equally important, it has always been our ambition to contribute to the development of the communication business and the services it provides for its clients. IPREX shares that ambition, and this is something which really excites us.”
