NEW YORK—AMO, the global network of strategic and financial communications consultancies that includes Abernathy MacGregor in the US and Maitland in the UK, has expanded its alliance to include Ad Hoc Communication Advisors in Italy and Swedish PR agency Springtime.

The agreements extend AMO’s reach to eight European countries, and strengthen the network’s offering at a time when the pace and volume of cross-border M&A transactions are accelerating.

Ad Hoc was established in 1996 by Mario Pellegatta and Giorgio Zambeletti and has a staff of more than 20, headquartered in Milan, serving a portfolio of more than 40 clients, including Bain & Company, Axa Private Equity, Ducati Motor Holding, Nomura, Julius Bär, Stefanel, Trilantic Capital Partners, Fondiaria Sai, Banca Popolare di Milano and Unipol.

Springtime has deep roots in public affairs, but offers a wide range of services from financial communications and brand building to internal communications and social media. Apart from its Stockholm headquarters, it has offices in Bejing, Shanghai and Dehli and has 80 employees serving clients such as Adobe, MTR, Phadia, Posten, Procordia, Saab, Sandvik, SEB and TeliaSonera.
