NEW YORK—Euro RSCG Middleberg has named Julie Jacobs, a senior corporate and financial communications specialist, to lead the agency’s corporate and financial services practice. Jacobs comes to Middleberg from Porter Novelli, where was senior vice president in the corporate communications practice. She will be responsible for continuing the group’s recent growth by further expanding the business and managing some of the agency’s high profile corporate clients.

According to Don Middleberg, chairman and CEO. “Over the past year, we have successfully expanded our senior management team, including Cliff Berman and Ed Nebb, who manage our consumer and IR practices. The addition of yet another industry veteran is a gratifying reflection of our efforts to make the agency a place where the best people can grow their careers.”

In her four years at Porter Novelli, Julie was a member of the PriceWaterhouseCoopers’ global corporate communications team and managed programs for the firm’s U.S. tax practice. Previously, Julie spent eight years at Golin/Harris Communications in both Chicago and New York, managing communications programs for clients including MasterCard and Owens Corning.
