Johnson King Adds Two New Clients

Johnson King has been appointed by Viatel, a business communications provider, to raise its profile in the U.K. media. The firm has also been appointed to handle U.K. PR for The Cleantech Group, a pioneer in the clean technology investment category.

LONDON—Johnson King has been appointed by Viatel, a business communications provider, to raise its profile in the U.K. media. The firm has also been appointed to handle U.K. PR for The Cleantech Group, a pioneer in the clean technology investment category and provider of global market research and other services for the clean tech sector.

 

Johnson King was retained by Viatel after a competitive pitch to replace incumbent Spark Communications and is tasked with increasing coverage in the business, trade and vertical press, as well as kicking off an analyst relations program. Johnson King will also be working with VTL Wavenet, the group’s wholesale arm, which operates a telecommunications network connecting the U.K., France, Germany, Netherlands, Belgium, Switzerland and New York.

 

JK will be working with partners Sterling Communications (U.S.), Lund PR (Scandinavia) and Newell PR (China) opn the Cleantech Group account, driving Cleantech Group’s global media and analyst relations, event promotion and social networking initiatives. Johnson King will kick off activities by promoting the European Cleantech Forum and helping to raise the group’s profile as a source for networking, advice and information in the clean technology industry.
