SINGAPORE—Weber Shandwick has promoted Baxter Jolly, currently managing director for Southeast Asia based in Singapore, to vice chairman of Weber Shandwick Asia Pacific. Jolly will take region-wide responsibility for multinational client services, regional practice groups and driving the agency’s HR and talent management programs.
Jolly will report directly to Tim Sutton, chairman of Weber Shandwick Asia Pacific, and continue in his role as managing director for Southeast Asia.
Prior to Weber Shandwick, Jolly was managing director of GolinHarris in Singapore, an Interpublic Group sister company. Before working at GolinHarris, he was executive director of a boutique PR agency in Japan and provided counsel to a number of multinational clients based in Tokyo and Osaka. He began his consultancy career as a senior consultant with Ludgate Asia in Hong Kong in 1998.
Under Jolly’s leadership, Weber Shandwick Singapore was named Best PR Agency 2008 by the International Business Association Stevie Awards.
