Joseph to Head PR at Biotechnology Industry Group

Jeffrey Joseph has joined the Biotechnology Industry Organization as vice president of communications. He was previously vice president of communications and strategic relations at the Consumer Electronics Association.

WASHINGTON, D.C.— Jeffrey Joseph has joined the Biotechnology Industry Organization as vice president of communications. He was previously vice president of communications and strategic relations at the Consumer Electronics Association, where he managed the communications department, served as an industry spokesperson and was responsible for CEA’s media and public affairs strategies.

At CEA, Joseph played an instrumental role in top technology policy issues, including the nation’s transition to digital television, intellectual property and environmental policy.

Prior to joining CEA, Joseph spent 11 years at Ogilvy Public Relations Worldwide in Washington, D.C. where he led campaigns around issues such as federal and state tax policy, federal land management, managed trade and farm policy.
