Kamal Joins Ogilvy's Digital Influence Team

Ogilvy Public Relations Worldwide has hired Irfan Kamal as vice president of digital influence strategy in its 360-Degree Digital Influence team. Prior to joining Ogilvy, Kamal served as entrepreneur-in-residence for Jeff Bezos, CEO of Amazon.com.

WASHINGTON, D.C.—Ogilvy Public Relations Worldwide has hired Irfan Kamal as vice president of digital influence strategy in its 360-Degree Digital Influence team. Prior to joining Ogilvy, Kamal served as entrepreneur-in-residence for Jeff Bezos, CEO of Amazon.com, in charge of researching, sourcing and evaluating digital start-up investment strategy and opportunities for Bezos' personal investment.

 

Kamal entrepreneurial experience also includes founding a preventive health social networking start-up, running a digital strategy consulting practice focused on international aviation and building a media start-up. Kamal also brings several years of energy, infrastructure and financial services industry experience in earlier roles on the financing teams at Bechtel and Merrill Lynch Capital Markets.
