Kaplow Creates Media Strategies Group

Kaplow Communications has created a new media strategies group, which will expand and enhance the agency’s competency in the media relations arena.

NEW YORK—Kaplow Communications has created a new media strategies group, which will expand and enhance the agency’s competency in the media relations arena.

The media strategies group will work in partnership with agency clients including eBay, Target Stores, Avon mark and CVS/pharmacy to develop major stories for top-tier media, counsel on ways to strengthen stories for specific media outlets, and suggest new ways to reach key consumers across the rapidly-shifting media landscape. 

The new group consists of specialists with deep expertise across traditional broadcast and print media, as well as emerging media like blogs and interactive viral marketing and is led by Bonnie Rothman Morris, senior vice president and creative director, and Sheri Lapidus, who has joined Kaplow as vice president of media relations. Before joining Kaplow Communications, Lapidus was director of public affairs for In Style magazine for 11 years. 

According to Liz Kaplow, president and CEO: “The media strategies group is strengthening and adding depth to our core expertise while innovating to keep our clients’ brands relevant in an ever-changing media world.”
