NEW YORK—KCSA Worldwide has formed an industry practice group dedicated to the new energy sector. The practice group will focus on alternative energy companies looking to launch new products and services or reach the investment community.

The new initiative draws on KCSA’s experience in the energy market segment and its existing relationships and deep industry resources. Clients currently or recently represented by the practice group include ConsumerPowerline, Ormat Technologies, Lighting Science Group, Bixby Energy, Keyspan Energy, and Orion Energy Systems.

According Jeff Corbin, chief executive officer of KCSA, “For new and alternative energy companies to gain the type of traction in the marketplace, they need and deserve creative thinking, new approaches and proven solutions to break through the clutter pervading the market today. We are launching an energy practice because we want to bring our experience, expertise and relationships in a laser-focused manner to companies that need to break out of the morass of unsuccessful communications programs.”

The new group will be led by Lewis Goldberg, managing partner, who has spearheaded and served on numerous accounts in the energy industry. He will manage the group in collaboration with Todd Fromer, managing partner, investor relations, and Josh Altman, managing director, marketing services.
