WASHINGTON, D.C.—Ketchum has won several healthcare accounts in its Washington, D.C., office, including the American Red Cross, Wyeth Consumer Health, Memorial Health and Universal Health Services. The programs will involve internal communications, community relations, media relations, product launches and marketing, and issues management.
Following the recent U. S. Food and Drug Administration approval of Alavert, an over-the-counter allergy medication, Wyeth Consumer Healthcare selected Ketchum as its agency of record to help establish brand awareness among consumers and provide strategic counsel.
For the American Red Cross, Ketchum is developing a comprehensive internal communications plan to help Red Cross Biomedical Services implement new policies and regulations. For Memorial Health, the firm is providing issues management and community relations support. And for Universal Health Services, Ketchum will handle corporate positioning and media outreach.
